For the closes downhills skiing, visit Pajarito Mountain Ski area, in Los Alamos, possibly New Mexico's best kept skiing secret. A non-profit organization, operating Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. With a peak elevation of over 10,000 ft., the skiing is uncrowded and offer some excellent skiing conditions. Trail map.

Ski Sante Fe will open soon. Nestled in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains just 16 miles from the heart of historic Santa Fe. Family oriented area with good snow and a peak the is over 12,000 ft. Trail map.
